Doke Black Fusion Organic Tea, Loose Whole Leaf 50 gm

The Doke Black Fusion is a hand plucked, hand rolled and roasted black tea processed at Doke Tea Estate in Bihar region of India. The tea is organically grown and uniquely roasted to give off it's typical light reddish appearance and caramel taste. This tea is being exported worldwide since 2013, with overwhelming customer response.

Brewing Tips

Tea per cup: 2 tea spoon. Steep time: 1-2 mins. Water temperature: 90 deg C for a full, layered profile with rose aromas and a buttery texture, 96 deg C for a full, layered profile with rose aromas and a buttery texture. 3 infusions possible from the same leaves.

Tasting Notes

Large wiry leaves, rather tightly hand-rolled, with aroma of honey, nut and spice. Wet leaf shows that the plucking standard is higher than usually applied for standard Indian teas. Liquor: Warm red-brown with aged copper tones. Astonishingly clear, some visible particles which sediment very quickly, but not muddy or cloudy, showing a good leaf preparation and careful winnowing. The tannine balance in the Black Fusion finish is an absolute masterpiece.
